A Few Fun Google Tricks!

You may have heard about these, but I am going to tell you about them anyway! There are some fun google tricks that have been going around and I am here to share 4 of them with you!

The first one is called the tilt. All you have to do is google: tilt. Then just wait! You'll see that the screen starts to tilt!

The second one is a lot alike, but much better! You just have to google: do a barrel roll. Then, if you wait, you'll see that the screen actually does a barrel roll!

The third trick is my personal favorite, it's call Google Gravity. It's pretty simple. First, google: Google Gravity. Then click on I'm feeling lucky. Then wait and be amazed! It's google with a gravity problem!

Last, but not least is the Pac-man. You may already know this but it's still pretty fun! Go up to the search bar and type www.google.com/pacman/ and you'll be able to play some pac-man! To start your game of pac-man click on the Insert Coin next to the Google Seach. To play multiplayer click on the Insert Coin twice. The controls are the arrow keys and the keys A,S,D,W.

A Great Day for a Craft!

Over at November Sunshine Nina is having a craft day where you put up your own tutorial for a craft! I thought today would be a great day to sit inside and work on a project so I decided to enter! Here we go!

Today, we will be making a little bag!
First things first, you will be needing:
  • A strip of fabric (preferably fleece)
  • A large bowl
  • A pencil
  • A scissors able to cut through fabric
  • Ribbon of your choice
  • A large-eyed sewing needle
 Step 1.
Tracing The Circle

Set your bowl upside down on top of your fleece and trace around it with your pencil so that when you lift up your bowl you can somewhat see an outline of it.

Step 2.
Cutting Out The Circle

Cut out your circle with your scissors and put the excess fabric aside.

Step 3.
Threading The Needle

Then thread your ribbon through your needle and sew it through the fabric but be sure to leave a tail and not tie a not.

Step 4.
Sewing Around Your Circle

Use a running stitch to sew around the circle leaving about 1/4 of an inch gap between your stitches and the edge of the fabric. Once you get close to where you started you should leave a 1/2 inch space between your first stitch and your last. Be sure not to knot the tail that you leave!

Step 5.
Forming The Shape

Here comes the tricky part. Now pull on the two tails that you have and your circle should start to curl up and sort of look like the picture above. You can situate where you want each curl in the fabric to be then tie the two tails that you should still have together in a knot so that the curls stay. You can then snip off some of the tails, but not down to the knot!

Step 6.
Cutting The Handle

Now take the excess fabric that you have and cut out a strip of it which we will be using for a handle of your little pouch!

Step 7.
Sewing On Your Handle And The Finished Product!

Now take the strip that you just cut and sew that onto each side of your pouch and don't forget to secure it with knots. Now you have your finished product, a little pouch that can hold little trinkets and treasures! Enjoy!

Gift Idea

If you want to make a quick and easy present for a friend's birthday you can fill your pouch with candy! (chocolate kisses work well)
 They'll surely love it!

I hope you liked my tutorial and if you do make it, comment below and tell me how it went! And if you want to enter your tutorial of a fun craft visit here to do so!
Have a great day!

What I Love About November

There is a gathering over at November Sunshine and all you have to do is a post about what you love about November!! Here goes!
What do I love about November? Gosh, that's easy.
I love when the brightly colored leaves press against dark bark

I love those cold mornings when I can sit by the fire and read my book.

And all of those rainy days.

Not to mention those beautiful clouds!

And sitting inside on cold days and finding the most random things ever, as below.

I like so many things about November. So many things.
